Mudanza is based in Point Loma, and our San Diego moving service areas stretch across the whole county from there, about 50 miles out in any direction. That means the peninsula, downtown and central San Diego, the coastal towns, the South Bay, East County, and North County up through Oceanside.

What areas of San Diego do you serve?
We serve all of San Diego County, roughly 50 miles from our base in Point Loma. That covers the peninsula, central San Diego, the coastal communities, the South Bay, East County, and North County as far as Oceanside.

We are a local moving company and we work locally. We do not currently offer long distance or out of state moves.
Do you charge extra for moves outside central San Diego?
No. Our rates are the same across San Diego County. A move in Chula Vista or Escondido is quoted at the same $120 an hour as one in Point Loma.

Longer distances take more time, and time is what you're paying for, so a cross-county move naturally costs more than a crosstown one. There's no separate travel surcharge added at the end.
Do you serve Chula Vista and the South Bay?
Yes. Chula Vista is about 25 minutes from our base and we're down there most weeks, covering Eastlake, Otay Ranch, Bonita, National City, and Imperial Beach.

Many South Bay communities are in HOAs that want a certificate of insurance before a truck comes through the gate. Tell us your community when you book and we'll handle it beforehand.
What if my move starts in one city and ends in another?
That's a normal local move as long as both addresses are inside San Diego County. Chula Vista to Point Loma, Oceanside to Downtown, El Cajon to Ocean Beach: all standard jobs, quoted the same way.

The drive time between the two addresses is included in your quote up front, so you're not billed for traffic on the day.
